The suffocating moisture that defines the rest of the year lifts, leaving crisp blue skies and minimal rainfall. You can spend an entire morning wandering past the shade trees of Plaza 9 de Julio or walking the riverfront promenade without breaking a sweat or scanning the horizon for storm clouds. Evenings are brisk enough to require a light fleece, but the chill never bites.
